Our Jewelry Appraisals are Independent.
We do not sell or have a vested interest in the pieces we examine and review. Wholesale Prices are assessed every two months by Gemworld International. The Guide lists Wholesale Prices within the U.S. and around the world. Gemworld International works in accordance with GIA to provide a trustworthy, stable gemstone market for customers.

Unlike Jewelers, a "well-trained" GIA Graduate Gemologist has the authority and capability to examine, grade, and identify a gemstone to the highest degree. They can also tell you if the gemstone's current report, jewelry appraisal, or other given paperwork is accurate.
However, like Jewelers, every Gemologist works within their own realm of knowledge and testing. A Gemologist is only as good as the extent of their knowledge and the capability of using the various gemological instruments GIA teaches.

Because the Gemstone market is constantly being invaded with new counterfeit items, GIA continues to advance technology. Therefore, Continuing Education with GIA is a must. We have also outlined certain instruments used for testing in the "why a GEMOLOGIST" tab.

You should seek a gemologist that knows how to use all gemological instruments very well and maintains an ethical background with GIA and other laboratories. The Study of Gemology correlates to Math and Science. Evidence is recorded for any findings. Gemological findings are facts. It does not involve subjective or random processes. In fact, a really good gemologist can provide you with the best answers.

Grading Report
Our Diamond Grading Reports represent the GIA Diamond Grading Process.
We evaluate the Four Cs and go beyond, giving you Cut & Proportion measurements as any Gemological Laboratory would.
We use GIA Instruments in our grading processes. These instruments can be trusted to render accurate results.
Each report is plotted for inclusions. They are then digitally mapped for their unique reference and identification purposes.
We use GIA grading process for our Fancy Shaped Diamond Grading Reports also.
We can examine the Cut Angles and Proportions to tell you whether or not the Cut is adequate for its Shape Appeal. See Fancy Cut Diamond Grading in the why a GEMOLOGIST tab.
